The film negatives for the movie The Girls (which the producers changed from "Lez Girls"), have been stolen from the studio and Tina gets blamed because of her frustation over the movie's new ending. Tina thinks Jenny stole them, but Jenny denies it and even proves it since she not permitted on the studio grounds anymore. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and record companies are responsible for entering into nomination the works that they deem most deserving. Once a work is entered, reviewing sessions are held by over 150 experts from the recording industry. This is done only to determine whether or not a work is eligible or entered into the proper category for official nomination. The nomination process requires that members vote only in their fields of expertise. They may nominate in the four general categories (Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist) and in no more than nine out of 31 fields on their ballots. Once the nominations are secured, Recording Academy members may then vote in the four general categories and in no more than eight of the 31 fields. Ballots are tabulated secretly by the major independent accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. As of 2006, the eligibility period for the Grammy Awards begins October 1.

video: Get On Your Boots by U2 / Get On Your Boots music video

U2 has premiered the video of GET ON YOUR BOOTS, the first single to be taken from their upcoming album release "No Line on the Horizon". Its the twelfth studio album for the band and is set to be released on February 27 in Ireland and the United States on March 3, 2009. The Get On Your Boots video features U2 playing the song against a backdrop of colorful and abstract graphics including images of well known female activists, along with marching girls in high leather boots in the background. It was designed by video director Alex Courtes, who previously co-directed the music videos for "Vertigo" and "City of Blinding Lights". The video also makes reference to war as the

background also shows fighter jets and soldiers. (Photo source: Wikipedia)

A bootlegged version of Get On Your Boots was previously released on YouTube. However, it was of poor quality and immediately pulled out. This is the new and official version that came out a couple of days ago. According to the U2's backing vocalist David Howell Evans, the video is based on the idea that men have screwed thing up so badly that its time to hand over the reigns to women. How's that for a message?

With regards to "No Line On The Horizon", this is what Wikipedia has to say about it:

Following the success of the previous two albums, which resembled U2's earlier work, No Line on the Horizon is reportedly more in keeping with the experimental phase explored in Achtung Baby, Zooropa, and Pop. "Get on Your Boots" is described by Q magazine as "demented electro grunge employs a proto-rock n’roll riff, but propelled into the future, before taking a sudden hip-hop twist midway through." Rolling Stone magazine has called it a "blazing, fuzzed-out rocker that picks up where "Vertigo" left off." Hot Press described the song as "[...] a thoroughly contemporary, intense electro grunge exercise, with Adam Clayton's powerful bass to the fore, which mixes hip hop influences with shades of the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and The Beatles."

John Mayer, Jennifer Aniston on Ellen: John Mayer on Ellen video

Sleepover was hot topic when John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston guested on Ellen (to be shown on Monday) and, as expected, the host reportedly didn't let the couple off the hook by interrogating them about the true status of their relationship. Jennifer Aniston's Ellen appearance last Friday was actually just a prelude to what is going to happen on Monday. Aniston was on the show to promote her latest movie "He's Just Not Into You".

Ellen also surprised Jennifer Aniston with a birthday cake as the former "Friends" star is celebrating her 40th. Aniston then revealed that she shed a tear when she found a gray hair one day, "It's not my first,

but it's the fact that it was so long," she says. "I was like, 'How many others are there and what does that mean?' It actually brought me to tears, slightly."

On John Mayer's appearance on the show, the clip below features a portion of the interview wherein Ellen asks Mayer about Jennifer Aniston's new house, a smart house. Describing some of the features of the place, John Mayer slipped and said something about the difficulty of having smart lighting panels instead of the usual light switches. He said he found it difficult to locate them in the middle of the night. Ellen didn't miss a beat and asked, "When you mentioned middle of the night, does it mean you sleep over? Do you sleep over?"

Find out more about the Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer Ellen guestings by tuning in to the show. To get a preview of these appearances, you can watch the clips below.

Gundam 00 season 2 episode 18: Gundam 00 s2 ep 18 (s02e18)

A few hours more and Gundam 00 season 2 episode 18 / Gundam 00 s2 ep 18 will be upon us, continuing the story of the Gundam Meisters as they fight to eradicate war and uniting humanity through the use of the four Gundams. With the destruction of the elevator in the previous episode, what effect will this have on our heroes and the rest of the world? This will be revealed in this week's episode of Gundam 00 entilted "Mixed Feelings" ("Kōsakusuru Omoi" (交錯する想い)). Gundam 00 season 2 episode 18 / Gundam 00 s2 ep 18 will be shown this weekend and soon the raw version will be available online. A couple of days later, the English subbed Gundam 00 season 2 episode 18 / Gundam 00 s2 ep 18 English sub will be available too. As there is no available preview video for this week's episode, here is a preview summary of Gundam 00 season 2 episode 18 / Gundam 00 s2 ep 18 for the meantime.

Preview: Gundam 00 season 2 episode 18 / Gundam 00 s2 ep 18
Mixed Feelings "Kōsakusuru Omoi" (交錯する想い)

Four months after the destruction of the orbital elevator in Africa, the world is a different place. The Federation now worries about the control of power under A-LAWS' jurisdiction. Tieria suggests to the Ptolemy crew that this time they should carry out a mission to take back Veda. And for that purpose, Sumeragi designs a plan centered around capturing an Innovator.

While waiting to for the latest episode of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, here is what happened in last week's episode to refresh your memory.

Recap: Gundam 00 season 2 episode 17 / Gundam 00 s2 ep 17

Despite the best efforts of the 00-Raiser to destroy the second Memento Mori, the beam fired from the badly damaged satellite weapon is still sufficient to severely damage the elevator; pieces of falling structure begin devastating the surface below. Coraline trailer/Coraline movie: animated film Coraline premieres

Looking the Coraline trailer / Coraline movie trailer? Coraline has hit the theaters and judging from the internet response it has gotten so far, it will be a hit. Coraline is a 2009 animated stop-motion horror fantasy film based on Neil Gaiman's novella of the same name. Directed by Henry Selick, it is a spectacular stop-motion animated adventure - the first to be originally filmed in 3D!

Coraline / Coraline movie is about a lonely young girl who unlocks a mysterious door in her new home and enters into a parallel reality, a wonderful and thrilling imitation of her own boring life. In this other world, Coraline finds new versions of her real mother and

father, her off-kilter neighbors Miss Spink, Miss Forcible and Mr. Bobinsky. However, this other world soon begins to unravel and Coraline, along with her real parents, become prisoners to her Other Mother and must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home.

Dakota Fanning voiced Coraline Jones, an 11 year-old self-proclaimed explorer who is young, clever, and curious. Young Coraline is often irritated by rain, crazy grownups, and not being taken seriously because of her young age, though perhaps her biggest pet peeve is that everyone mistakes her name for "Caroline".

Teri Hatcher voiced Mel Jones, Coraline's Mom / Other Mom, a talented writer who works at her house on the computer. She is very busy most of the time, but she loves and cares about Coraline (though she doesn't always show it). The Other Mother is the mastermind of the other world. During the film her appearance changes from an abstractly peachy version of Coraline's real mother into a gangly, wretched form to reflect spider-like qualities.

John Hodgman voiced Coraline's dad, Charlie Jones who, like her mom, works at home on the computer. He is a little warmer with Coraline as opposed to her cold and uncaring mother. He is somewhat nerdy and tries to act "cool" (though he isn't). The Other Father is a singing man created by the Other Mother, whom he fears greatly.
