Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to get married the Hindu way
Following Katie Perry and Russell Brand, having a Hindu wedding, Hollywood’s hot stars, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are also to get married the Hindu way.
Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedding ceremony being performed by a Siddha Guru.
Reports suggest that Jolie and Pitt will marry in the New Year and Guru Ram Lalji Siyag of Bikaner (Rajasthan, India) will perform the ceremony.
Siyag is also reportedly helping the couple find inner peace and harmony and strengthening their about five-year relationship by practicing Siddha yoga together. He is said to have given them a “mantra” (a divine word) which they repeatedly chant at the beginning and end of their day and it has positively transformed their relationship.
Well known Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that they were glad to know that Jolie and Pitt would tie the knot in an ancient Vedic ceremony and that yoga was helping them nourish their bonding.
Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, has urged the entertainment and other celebrities to explore both the physical and spiritual dimensions of yoga. According to Patanjali who codified yoga, yoga is a methodical effort to attain perfection, through the control of the different elements of human nature, physical and psychical.
Siddha Guru Siyag, 84, has founded Adhyatma Vigyan Satsang Kendra, a Jodhpur (Rajasthan) headquartered spiritual organization. “Siddha Yoga corrects disharmony of the body and mind” is listed as one of the several benefits of Siyag’s Siddha Yoga. “Guru Siyag’s Siddha Yoga For Spiritual Evolution and Holistic Healing” is the tagline of his organization.
According to Guru Siyag, Siddha Yoga is based on the philosophy of yoga as propounded by ancient sage Matsyendra Nath (after learning it from Lord Shiva himself) and later codified by Patanjali in Yoga Sutra.
Hinduism, oldest and third largest religion of the world, has about one billion adherents and moksha (liberation) is its ultimate goal.
