Is Blink 182 back together? There has a a lot of speculation of a Blink 182 reunion for several weeks. The rumors became stronger as it was announced that the former members would be appearing at the 2009 Grammy Awards as presenters. Then it happened, as the former members appeared together on stage for the first time since their break up, Travis Barker announced the reunion of the group, "We used to play music together, and we decided we're going to play music together again." Mark Hoppus then added, "Blink-182 is back!" This was further confirmed by a statement posted on their MySpace site a few hours later:

This past week there've been a lot of questions about the current status of the band, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us. To put it simply, We're back. ... In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy.

Blink 182 is a punk rock trio from in 1992 Poway, California. The trio / band was originally known as "Blink" with original members Tom DeLonge (vocals, guitar), Mark Hoppus (vocals, bass) and Scott Raynor (drums). In 1998, midway through a U.S. tour, drummer Travis Barker replaced Scott Raynor. They parted ways in 2005 when DeLonge left the group, and formed a band known as Angels & Airwaves. Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker continued playing music with +44. Blink-182 is known for their pop punk music and simple melodies, as well as some lyrical toilet humor. Their hit singles include Stay Together for the Kids, Dammit, All the Small Things, What's My Age Again?, First Date, Adam's Song, The Rock Show, Feeling This and I Miss You.

Episode Recap: The Big Bang Theory season 2 episode 14

Sheldon's "simple" solution to Penny's financial problem leads to a confrontation between Leonard and Penny's hulking ex-boyfriend, Kurt. Penny hasn't paid her rent, so Sheldon loans her some money. But then Penny starts to worry about not being about to pay Sheldon back soon enough, even though Sheldon never doubts Penny will pay him back and is not worried about it. Leonard tries to help Penny solve her problem and in the process learns that Kurt owes Penny $1800. Without telling Penny, Leonard goes to Kurt's place to collect the money, and Kurt writes "I owe Penny $1800" on Leonard's forehead. At the end of the episode, Penny pays Sheldon back with money that Kurt paid her, but much to Leonard's disappointment, Kurt evidently never told Penny about Leonard's visit, and in fact, Penny and Kurt are getting back together.

Chris Brown arrested for assault: Chris Brown beat Rihanna?

Chris Brown and Rihanna have missed the Grammys this year as Chris brown was arrested for assault. Was it for beating Rihanna? That's the assumption of many as there is no official word yet from both camps, and since the woman he allegedly assaulted remains unnamed as of this writing.

On the day of the 2009 Grammy Awards, the highlight of any recording artist's calendar, bigger news grabbed the headlines in Hollywood as two of the brightest names of the music world are involved - Chris Brown and Rihanna. Earlier in the day, it was reported that police were looking for Chris Brown after a woman

eported to police that she was assaulted by the actor. Police arrived at the scene and found the woman with "visible injuries". She allegedly pointed to Chris Brown as her assailant but the singer was not in the scene. The assaulted woman remains unnamed. According to the woman, she and Chris Brown got into an argument which later turned violent. This was reported by TMZ:

Chris is being investigated by the LAPD for an alleged domestic violence felony battery that occurred early this morning near Hancock Park in L.A. Police officials said earlier today they may arrest Brown when they found him. Well, now they know where he is.

According to the female victim -- who cops refuse to identify -- she and Chris got into an argument which turned violent. Cops say when they arrived to the scene, Brown had split, but the woman had "visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."

It was later reported that Chris Brown turned himself in and was booked into the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department. Chris Brown was charged with one count felony criminal threats with bail set at fifty grand.

According to reports, Chris Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna were together earlier last night attending the pre-Grammy party of music mogul Clive Davis. This lead many to speculate that it was Rihanna whom Chris Brown beat up. What's more, Rihanna has canceled her appearance in the 2009 Grammys later in the day, strengthening speculation of her involvement in the incident.
