IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

2) During the registration process, do not press the browser back button or refresh button.
3) If you are getting any hibernate spring framework error, then please delete the memory cache and restart the registration process.

HOW TO APPLY
a) Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment project. After successful registration,the candidates shall be sent a copy of their On-line application to their respective e-mail ID.
b) Further, the candidates are requested to check regularly their e-mail for any communication from LIC.
c) Before you start filling up the On-line application, make sure the following details/documents are readily available with you:
i. Miscellaneous Receipt in respect of the Application Fee deposit, if applicable.
ii. Relevant information regarding Age & Academic Qualification as mentioned in the employment notification regarding eligibility.
d) Click on “START REGISTRATION” button at the right side of instructions to start the registration process.
e) Candidates should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in on-line application.
f) Click on “Submit” button to complete the registration process. Upon successful submission a mail will be sent to you that will contain your username/Registration ID and password. Please check your spam folder also for the mail.
g) The maximum time for filling-up the On-line application is 30 minutes. In case of more than 30 minutes, your data will not be saved and the applicant has to restart the filling-up of application form.
h) If you are a “Registered User”, then login with your User Name (Application Registration Number) and Password after the registration process gets completed.
i) The closing date for Registration of Application Form is 14.12.2010.
j) After applying on-line, the candidate should take a print out of the system generated on-line application form and retain it safely for future reference.
k) Please do not send the copy of system generated on-line application form to LIC of India.
l) There is provision to modify the submitted on-line application only once between 15/12/2010 to 16/12/2010 till 12:00 midnight. Candidates are requested to make use of this facility to correct the details in on-line application, if any. Any changes made after the due date will not be accepted. The Candidates shall be required to modify all the fields except Post Applied For and Payment Details.
m) Although it has been mentioned in the Employment notification that the LIC branch code shall be provided in a drop down box,however due to technical reasons the candidates are advised to manually enter the Branch Code in the application fee details of the on line application form.
n) Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply on-line much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date for depositing the fees to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability/failure to log on the LIC�s website on account of heavy load on internet/website jam.
GUIDELINES FOR SCRIBE
A scribe to write the written examination on behalf of a Visually Impaired or Orthopedically Handicapped candidate whose writing speed is affected by Cerebral Palsy may be used. In all such cases, where a scribe is used, the following rules apply:
a) Candidate will have to arrange his own Scribe at his own cost.
b) The Scribe may be from any academic stream.
c) The academic qualification of the Scribe should be one grade lower than the stipulated minimum eligibility criteria and the Scribe should possess less marks than the candidate.
d) Both the candidate and the scribe should give a suitable undertaking confirming that the scribe fulfills all the stipulated eligibility criteria as mentioned above. In case it later transpires that the scribe did not fulfill any of the laid down eligibility criteria or had suppressed material facts, the candidature of the applicant shall stand canceled, irrespective of the result of the written examination.
e) Candidates who use scribe will be eligible for extra time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination.
AGE RELAXATION
Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 1st November, 2010. Maximum age shall be 30 years. Relaxations in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/ECO/SSRCO/Persons with Disabilities/Confirmed LIC employees shall be as under:
DEFINITION FOR PERSON WITH DISABILITY
(a) Orthopedically Handicapped (OH): A person having a minimum of 40% physical impairment with disability of one hand or one leg provided independent mobility is not affected, are eligible to apply.
(b) Visually Impaired (VH): Candidates with visual Impairment falling under Category I (40-74%) only are eligible to apply.
