The drama in the Chris Brown Rihanna assault continues as media reports have confirmed that it really was Rihanna that the "With You" hit maker beat up. However, it is the alleged reason behind the beating that is taking center stage at the moment. Reports around the web have quoted anonymous sources close the Chris Brown alleging that the cause of the domestic violence was that Rihanna gave Chris brown herpes! Yes, that's right, herpes as in STD. What a shocker! If you fell off your chair with that one, be ready for more. And where did Rihanna get this disease? Allegedly, Rihanna got the herpes from Jay-Z! (You can faint now). Still, that's no reason to beat her up.
Law enforcement sources have now gotten specific with us... police took pictures of Rihanna's injuries and they are "horrific."
As we reported, the photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer's face -- there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers.
No official statements have yet been issued from both camps. Although there are many reports such as these all over the web, none of them have been officially confirmed as the Rihanna and Chris Brown camps are keeping quiet about it. Tune in for more.
BTW, here an entry on Wikipedia on this case:
Brown turned himself in at the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire station around 6:30 p.m on February 8, 2009 and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, while under investigation for domestic violence charges, following an argument with fellow singer and girlfriend Rihanna in Hancock Park, Los Angeles, California. Official reports did not name the female in the incident but stated that she had “suffered visible injuries.” He was set to perform at the 2009 Grammy Awards, but was removed and replaced by Justin Timberlake and Al Green. The Los Angeles Times reported that he is being represented by defense attorney Mark Geragos. Continued fallout of his arrest was evidenced in Brown pulling out of his scheduled appearance at the 2009 NBA All-Star Game. The 19-year-old had been tapped to introduce the players with Shaquille O'Neal before tip-off at Phoenix's US Airways Center.
