Inter University Accelerator Centre ( IUAC ) New Delhi was founded in 1984. It provides front ranking accelerator based research facilities to create possibilities for internationally competitive research within the university system. It is an autonomous research facility of University Grants Commission of New Delhi. It was formerly known as Nuclear Science Centre.

IUAC invites applications from Indian Nationals for the various posts on contractual basis and the details are given below :

Scientists ‘ B ‘
no. of posts : 1
Salary : Rs. 22000/- per month
Qualification : Candidate should posses  Ph.D. in Science, in the fields of nuclear physics / materials science / atomic and molecular physics / radiation biology along with working knowledge of Unix / Linux, experience in Fortran / C / C++ programming .Scientists ‘ C ‘
no. of posts : 1
Salary : Rs. 27000/- per month
Qualification : Candidate should posses  Ph.D. in Science, in the fields of nuclear physics / materials science / atomic and molecular physics / radiation biology along with working knowledge of Unix / Linux, experience in Fortran / C / C++ programming .
Experience : At least 2 years of post doctoral research experience is required.Scientists ‘ D ‘
no. of posts : 2
Salary : Rs. 32000/- per month
Qualification : Candidate should posses  Ph.D. in Science, in the fields of nuclear physics / materials science / atomic and molecular physics / radiation biology along with working knowledge of Unix / Linux, experience in Fortran / C / C++ programming .
Experience : At least 4 years of post doctoral research experience is required.Software Engineer / System Administrator
no. of posts : 2
Salary : Rs. 27000/- per month
Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of B. Tech / MCA / M.Sc. in a relevant discipline .
Experience : At least 2 years of experience in software development or system administration, or M.Tech in a relevant discipline and hands-on experience of UNIX / Linux system administration, shell scripts, C / C++ programming and networks, switching and toung.
