The victory of San Diego over the Denver Broncos sealed the playoff match-ups. On the AFC side, the Indianapolis Colts will visit the San Diego Chargers on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at
8 PM (ET) with the winner facing the Tennessee Titans. On the other hand, the Miami Dolphins will play host to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, January 4, 2009 (1 PM Eastern) with the winner facing the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Titans and the Steelers have first round byes.
Meanwhile, on the NFC side of the fence, the Atlanta Falcons face the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona on January 3 at 4:30 PM (ET). The winner of this match will meet the New York Giants in the next round. On January 4, the Minnesota Vikings play hot to the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:30 PM, with the winner facing the Carolina Panthers in the next round. The second round schedule are as follows:

As for the 2009 NFL Draft, it is scheduled to take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on April 25 and 26, 2009. The draft will have two rounds on the first day, and five rounds on the second day. The Detroit Lions, by virtue of their poor record in the 2008 regular season, will have the overall top pick.
