Indian cricket Team Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, was in Chennai for the selection of the Indian cricket test team for the series against England which kicks off in Chennai soon. Dhoni reportedly had dinner with actress Lakshmi Rai at a private hotel.
This has sparked off numerous rumors that link Dhoni with Lakshmi Rai as having a romance-filled association. When queried, Laxmi Rai said, 'I am a good friend of Dhoni. We met each other when Dhoni represented IPL's Chennai Super Kings a few months ago'.
'A couple of days ago when Dhoni was in Chennai, we had dinner together at a private hotel, where there was tight security. We are good friends and that is it. We share a good rapport with each other', Laxmi Rai said.
