Popularly known as the “World Series of Rodeo”, the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada is hands-down the biggest event in the sport. With the rodeo selling out every year, National Finals Rodeo tickets have become a hot commodity when it comes to Las Vegas entertainment.
The National Finals Rodeo (NFR) is the flagship event of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. It is the final event of the season and at its end, eight men are crowned champions in the event’s feature competitions: bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, and bull riding. Women also have the opportunity to earn the title of champion in the barrel racing event, the only event that is exclusive to female competitors. The National Finals Rodeo is held each year during the first week of December at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.Many hotels and casinos feature the rodeo on live television for those individuals who were unable to score tickets to the event, and several establishments schedule country-themed shows and entertainment, giving their regular entertainers a much-needed vacation.
